Cozy Colorado Adventure Elopement

When Becca, Dan, and I were planning this Colorado adventure elopement, we had planned on Saturday, but a crazy winter storm blew into Colorado so we had to analyze the weather, look at the avalanche danger, and the overall conditions of the road to determine whether or not we needed to reschedule.
Spoiler alert: we had to reschedule! :)

Flexibility is one of the best parts of choosing to elope! When you choose to elope with your best friend, you only have to worry about the two of you so it allows for some flexibility if something were to come up, like a crazy Colorado snow storm! After talking extensively a couple of days before the elopement, figuring out if they wanted to switch days or keep the planned day and change locations, we settled on keeping the location but pushing the elopement back a day.

I can honestly say that it was the best decision! We met at the trailhead on a Sunday morning.  We were greeted with clear, sunny skies and perfect temperatures! As we made our way up the trail we had the flexibility to soak in all of the beauty of the Colorado Rockies! It was the picture-perfect Colorado elopement!
